Augmentations
GMDX improves augmentation balance, audio design, visual effects and adds new empowering abilities..
Note that the abilities originally granted by the augmentations remain untouched unless oterwise stated.
Microfibral Muscle (Passive):
-Deal damage to enemies by throwing objects. damage based on mass, velocity, aug level & hit location.
-At max aug level you can jump whilst carrying heavy objects.
-Right click to drop carried object, left click to power throw.
-You can also throw inventory items (including weapons) to deal damage. Use the middle mouse button.
-Allows you to carry heavy weapons without penalty to movement.
Combat Speed (Passive):
-Increases melee attack speed as it's description indicates. Also passive.
-Also increases weapon equip & holster speed.

Regeneration (Active):
-Faster energy drain
-Less health gained per 2 seconds (it cycled every 1 second vanilla)! Significant reduction of effectiveness as regen overrode many aspects of the RPG systems' worth (e.g you could counter drowning damage, radiation damage etc with it, but no longer).
Energy Shield (Passive):
-Made passive & more powerful to be a worthy choice over regeneration.
-Also protects you against EMP attacks (EMP shield + Energy Shield merged).

Ballistic Protection (Active):
-Reduced protection values to 35% 45% 55% 65%. Also eliminates fliching.
-Reduced bioelectricity drain significantly.
Ballistic protection (Automatic):
-A new aug. Same as ballistic protection but not as effective (20%, 25%, 30%, 35%) yet is automatic.
-Drains energy by 1/8th of bullet damage taken.
-In addition to inferior protection it doesn't eliminate flinching like its active counterpart.

Spy Drone (Active):
-Use the left mouse/fire to emit sound from the drone and distract NPCs on patrols.
-Reduced Bioenergy costs.
-Can no longer be used as a parachute by activating whilst airborne.
-Has cloaking technology to give reason as to why NPCs never react to the drone itself.
A.D.S (Active):
-No longer detonates Plasma Bolts.
-New SFX when activated

Cloak (Active):
-Player can visually see JC's hands/guns turning invisible/transparent. Using the laser mod with cloak active can get you spotted.
Radar Transparency (Active):
-You no longer set off laser beams whilst RT is active.

Run Silent (Active):
-Now reduces falling damage in addition to making you run silent.
Speed Enhancement (Active):
-Activating speed enhancement whilst crouched produces footsteps which will alert AI. A neccessity to balance these two choices.
-Movement is not stunted when landing from height.

Aqualung (Active):
-Now also increases stamina regeneration rate.
-Many changes related to swimming (see the skills page to learn more).
Environmental Resistance (Active):
-ER protects you against shock/electricity damage in addition to it's default resistances.
-Many changes related to Environmental hazards (see the skills page to learn more].
-Added new activation SFX.

-Overhauled behaviour. Be sure to read its description thoroughly in-game.
-Can now be upgraded
Power Recirculator (Automatic):
N/A (is automatic: activates automatically when needed).

DEFAULT AUGMENTATIONS:
Light (Active):
-Can be upgraded to reduce bioenergy drain and increase light radius.
IFF (Passive):
-Now acts as a HUD upgrade aug and if upgraded displays player light levels at all times, as well as detects nearby environmental hazards.
